Dhundli yaadein, bikhre sapne
gumsum chehre chaaron aur
sab ke moonh me jubaan hai lekin
labon pe pehre chaaron aur

sab ke haatho me dikhte hain
sau ummedo ke parcham
par anjaane darr se sab ke
kadam hain thehre chaaron aur

aankhon me ansu, paanvo me chhale
mann me malaal-e-majboori
lagta hai jaise, sab ke dilo me
ghaav hain gehre chaaron aur

tum bhi shayad yahi kahoge
dekh ke badhte julmositam
jag me keval bache hain
andhe, goonge, behre chaaron aur
